Yim's Market

I go here almost everyday for the Korean Kim Bab, it’s the best in town and a super reasonable price. They’re my favorite Asian market and stop in Sparks AND Reno. It’s a great shop and the employees are always super friendly and kind too! 10/10 I will always recommend this place.

Went in for the first time tonight with my husband. We wanted to make pho for dinner, they had EVERYTHING you could need. The staff at the register were very kind and helpful. She helped me run through my ingredient list and made sure I had it all. Great prices and we found some of our favorite drinks and snacks. We marveled at the wall of noodles. Happy to have gone on and will definitely use this and my go to.

It was ok. I came there looking specifically for honey butter chips and they did not have them. I ended up buying sweet rice flour and I was on my way. I would like to see a larger drink selection (especially on hot days), but other than that, a great place to visit. Edited 8/12/2025 I went back and they had Honey Butter Chips! They are soooo good. I also like they have quick items in the back to grab for lunch. Their tofu is delicious and very affordable.

I have been shopping at YIMS Market for about 10 years, and the quality of their products has always been excellent. The owners and all of the staff are consistently kind and welcoming. Two weeks ago, I stopped by here not realizing that my car had already been damaged elsewhere, and I received an incredible amount of help from them. The owner’s parents and the owner himself went out of their way to take care of us — they gave us lunch, provided a comfortable place to wait, and stayed with us during the three hours it took for the tow truck, police, and fire department to arrive. Their kindness and hospitality were unforgettable, and I truly felt cared for. I am very grateful to them and feel bad for the trouble caused, but this experience confirmed once again how special this market is. I will continue to shop only at YIMS Market.

Great East Asian market. Newly remodeled w a very modern look and butcher area. Fresh affordable kimbap available. I'd suggest they add the more modern Korean beers they sell in Korea like Kloud, Terra, and Hanmac. Lots of fresh bonchon. I'd also suggest carrying HBAF flavored almonds which is big in Korea and incredibly tasty. I don't know if they can get meat on a stick too which is everywhere in convenience stores. I have no idea what meats they are, but they're spicy and tasty. Love radish kimchi which you can't find in American stores.

Cute store with almost any Asian food, product, or ingredient you could need. Got Mochi Ice Cream and Fish Cakes, very good.
